Feedback - need for avenue of response?

Recently I had a partially completed trade thread where I'd been given positive feedback, but as I hadn't received my card, I'd withheld feedback, but communication lines were still open and amicable.
I received the normal 7, 14, 21 & 28 day reminders and after 30 days, as per the site guidelines, positive feedback was automatically left.
I tried to reply to one of these reminders explaining the situation to OZCT, but not sure if I did the right thing or did it in the right way or if it's even possible.
Positive feedback was left by OZCT, but as my card has now arrived safely, a replacement having been sourced and sent a second time by the other trader, I'd like to add my own words of praise.
My main point, is, if there is no provision for a reply to a reminder notice from OZCT, why can't there be?
No one's going to leave positive feedback if they haven't received their items!
There could be a way, and it may be simple but I've missed it, and if that's the case please point me in the right direction.
