Maybe its easy to know if you have a Jordan Sticker RC but to find the number #57 RC is much harder to find, the odds were 1:12, so 3 Jordan RC #57 from each box, there could of been more or even less Jordan in each box, Also there are many other great players as well and future/& Hall of Famers in
Barkley, Malone, Ewing, Bird, Magic, McHale, Worthy, Olajuwon, Wilkins, Thomas, Dumars and much much more, thats why this will always be the greatest set to ever collect. |

for those questioning the "rumour"
I'm sure Chad will be able to provide more info on this but my understanding. The collation of packs was not very random, meaning that packs were exactly the same. So as we know John has Nique sticker on the back, that pack will be the same as every other pack with Nique on the back. and I agree that yes it says from a full box, but as you acknowledged these were not sealed boxes, so it would be very easy to remove the Jordan packs and replace them with non-jordan packs |

Correct. They were collated in such an order it was easy to figure out what pack contained contained a Jordan RC. I suggest seeing you are selling it John you do the research yourself before making claims its all rumour.
Some of us have been in the hobby for decades and the reason this place exists is that it brings knowledge to the masses. There is more to this site than simple maildays looking at cards. I suggest you take the advice or look for yourself. As Cocky suggests it would be dead easy to note the player on the back of a Jordan pack and simply pull that pack when it came back from GAI. No one is denying you to sell this pack. It has the best chance of being sealed compared to raw packs for sale but everyone should know that you don't have the same chance of pulling a Jordan than what you did if you had a box of packs and simply put your hand in to grab a random pack. Its the shame the hobby is money driven but the reality is the part of the hobby for collectors comes last. Also ONLY the pack itself is graded. There is no guarantee that the cards inside are psa 10 condition and centering can usually be seen from the back sticker and usually the centering is fairly consistent thru out that pack or box. I know of many product from older times where collectors bust one pack, check centering and then sell the rest of the box or keep busting.

To also say that it is impossible to go through the packs looking for the Jordans and reseal them is impossible - that's exactly how it happens, and unfortunately GAI have been caught out recently with grading and slabbed tampered and resealed packs. Personally, I would not have purchased such a high end pack in a GAI slab, but that was your personal decision and wish you luck with the sale. |

This is a great thread, i never knew about the pack collating, the boxes being packed the same and the odds of the Jordan RC. So with all the information flowing around in here my questions are these.
Where were the Jordan packs eg 2 across 3 down? Who was on the front and back of the Jordan packs? Were there diff players? |
