Warning re Craig Mcdermott man of the series futera

Hi guys,

Just a warning these cards appear to be all marked 1 of 700
Below is my card marked 1 of 700 surprise/surprise :lol:
I asked the first one to send me a scan which I have not received thus far

1995 #1/700 Craig Mcdermott man of the series futera Item number: 260657762500
1995 CRAIG McDERMOTT MAN OF THE SERIES CARD Item number: 310247452663

Don't get sucked in by the above as being solely 1 of 700 although the sellers may be unaware of the situation. Obviously there may be 700 x 1 of 700 as it appears to be plain printing.

Heritage Card set - How much would you pay???

Hi everyone,

As some of you know I was with my supplier yesterday who told me that he had ten full sets of the heriatge to sell. he told me a price which i thought was to high in which he disagreed.

So I thought that I would provide him with some feedback from people whom are interested in cricket cards.

Please note that these sets contain the the signature of Keith Miller (signatures gained during another memorabilia signature sitting, not done for Futera).

I would like to hear of what you think a set like this hsould sell for.

And... If you are interested in a set let me know via a PM and I can try to arrange for you.

Special moments

We must all have a special moments that we savour for one reason or another. I know that I have several but I will pick the one day match against the mighty West Indies in 1996. Michael Bevan coming in at 7/74 chasing 173 hit the last ball of the game from Roger Harper over his head for four to win the match. I remember almost dislocating my coxis bone when I fell off my chair in excitement.

What is yours?.

Match fixing claims - here we go again

Pakistan captain named in Test fix claims | Herald Sun

A BRITISH newspaper story names Pakistan captain Salman Butt as the ringleader of a group of players who have been paid to fix the fourth Test against England being played at Lord's

The News of the World story also claims that bowlers Mohammad Amir and Mohammad Asif and wicketkeeper Kamran Akmal are involved.

British police have already arrested a man over the claims.

"Following information received from the News of the World, we have arrested a 35-year-old man on suspicion of conspiracy to defraud bookmakers,'' said a spokesman for London's Metropolitan Police.

News of the World, Britain's biggest-selling newspaper, alleged that two Pakistan bowlers delivered three blatant no-balls to order.

This sort of thing makes me sick in the stomach :mad:

Cricket World Cup - 2011

Next year is the cricket world cup between February - April, being held in India,
Sri Lanka and Bangladesh and I have recently found out I will most likely be going.

My dad and I would love to go but we are concerned about safety, with 5/6 of NZ's group stage games being in India. Is anyone else going? What are your thoughts in terms of safety?

One things for sure, we won't be going to the Pakistan V New Zealand with the Indians hate of Pakistan.
