Gee whiz, it only seems like yesterday, in how I joined the boards on here and was picking up my first ever Exquisite auto patch card.
Man, how far how I have come and this board and it's members as well, how far everyone has come. And also, how far some have gone also....

Sitting here, only a few weeks ago, making 10,000 views on my sale/trade thread. And heck, I don't even sell or trade that often. And now, nearly 10,000 posts as well. My lordy, boy does time fly.

Though, even with time flying by, there has been so much filled into my time here and the hobby. Back almost 4 years ago, I didn't even know anyone collected cards anymore in Australia, little lone, how far they had come and stuff. I mean, the whole auto patch thing :worthy:
Shops had long disappeared, but the people and the community, surely didn't.

Then, Carrie came along :lol:
For better or worst.... it wasn't all plain sailing here that's for sure.

And don't even mention Auto Lettermans, what was I thinking :D Ha ha ha ha

Though, with all the happiness shared with everyone on here and around the world, you always have the idiots and trouble makers whom don't like you for whatever reason it suits them.
The names of people barred for silly and stupid behavior over time, or ripping people off, or fighting on the boards still pop up in my mind when I see certain things happen in the community. Though, thats the thing, it is a "community" and there will be people from all walks of life that venture and gather here at times. From your regular post whores, as what people call them :D Ha ha ha
To the people whom only post stuff, but never participate elsewhere on the boards.
To the people whom just use it for transactions in making their pc's better and nothing more.
Each and everyone has a purpose that they come here for each and every time, and this is what makes the boards interesting and what they are. They guys whom run and look after the forum (they know whom they are) really do a great job and have been for many a years. Sure, they have made their blunders and errors along the way with things, but nobody is perfect, but they certainly do make it work so that all the people mentioned above, can come and do whatever they do as part of the community.

The community certainly has changed over the time I have been on here. As old faces go, new faces come. Some you will never forget, and some, you wish you really did.

I can see why people get lazy and do mailmonths or not at all.
The time and effort to do quality scans and posts for people to see sure takes time indeed.

So today I did a recount of my Timberwolves collection, after having finished scanning a few PC cards that had just been sitting waiting to be put away since July.

The official count is 2601 total different cards including 3 1/1s, 108 Autographs and 261 relic (ball, floor, jersey, patch,) cards.

Currently waiting on my third Kevin Love autograph and a Bucks Ramon Sessions Autograph to go into my folder under autos of players who have played for the Wolves, but not in a Wolves uni. I have several nice autos in that section including this Donyell Marshall manufactured patch auto:



It's just a shame Rodney Carney has the crappest autograph I have ever seen by an NBA player, or this exquisite might look a little better:



Now I think there are a couple Timberwolves players that have some really nice Autographs, when they take the time to sign. Kevin Love being one:



I have seen some nice Johnny Flynn autos out there, but also some pretty dodgy ones. I don't actually have a single Flynn card yet, as I am just returning from a card trading hiatus that started in July. Hope to pick up some cards of his, and especially one of his nice autographs.

At the moment my main goal is to complete a deal for 80 Isaiah Rider cards, which would push me over 400 - not bad for a guy who only has 528 listed by Beckett. So I'm looking to sell some of my PC, preferrably non Wolves whether it be my Marvin Williams exquisite or some of my Devin Harris Autos and as a last resort, one of my KG autos.
