Are......for example......... MJ & LJ still tied to UD? Can Panini produce auto cards with the boys still signed to other card companies? Or do those contracts become null & void with Panini as the sole player in NBA cards?

I am disappointed. I thought we were in for a revolution but they look just like all the crap that is available now. Far too many patches and far too many autos!!!!

Not much chop if you ask me. I would have thought that they would have come out with a BIG bang and make a statement with there product. Same old CRAP just a diffrent company. Did they read any of the posts that the thousands of collecters posted on all the card site's.

Everyone wants something BIG / NEW / DIFFERENT...........these are just pieces of cardboard with a picture, some effect, with some sort of GU or auto.
What else can they do..........Hair cards? Thumb print cards? They at least are putting a few more inserts in.
I think you may be expecting too much if you want something different from what the previous producers have been doing.
Remember, Topps and UD have been at it for a while and know what they are doing. Fresh ideas froma new face can help, but it is hard to reinvent the wheel.
