Official NBL 2014/15 Season Thread

Ok, we are just going in circles now mate. He likely isn't silly enough to react again anyway. Just a shame he did it in the first place.

If he was a rookie or inexperienced then yeah, but with his resume? I doubt that's gonna worry him.

The way he was carrying on during the game though, he was letting every little thing get to him. It wasn't like he wasn't getting the benefit of the ref's calls either... DeAndre Daniels was getting called for every body check on him and was severely limited by foul trouble all night. Once he gets back on court (as in, he can expect a little holiday/suspension for a week or two) he is going to have every other team focussing on trying to get under his skin, as it seems to be an issue for him.

On a complete seperate topic, but from the same game, it was an absolute treat to watch someone totally dominate a game while only scoring 2 points!!! Damien Martyn nearly completed a Triple Double by having 9 boards, 9 steals and 8 assists to completely control the game whilst having very little impact on the scoreboard. Not only did he have 9 steals but he was directly responsible for another 3-4 Sydney turnovers that didn't show up in the stat sheet under his name with 2 drawn charges and a couple of deflections. He was ALL OVER THE PLACE!! His 2 points came really early in the game as well, so from that point on he didn't even score again, yet still dominated. Well played Marto.

That was a total defensive domination. I have never seen someone take over like that without even worrying about scoring. He is showing already why he will likely win the Defensive Player of the Year award for the 5th year in a row!

November 16: Sydney vs Perth. Will be very interesting.

I'm sure Perth fans have already circled February 1st on the calendar too. Childress can expect 13000 people booing him every time he gets the ball or checks into the game!
